You can integrate your store with Google Analytics on the Marketing > Google Analytics page.
- Register for a Google Analytics account here.
- You'll find a “Web-Property-ID” in your Google Accounts settings. Add the ID in the field on your store administration page Marketing > Google Analytics and save it.
- Go to the Pages tab and select the pages you want to track. Generally it's best to include all pages into this.
The reports will start showing about 24 hours after you have registered.
Sales statistics in Google Analytics
Google Analytics can also be set to track e-commerce sales, which enables you to follow which search terms and sources bring most sales. The website is profiled as an online shop in Google Analytics on the page Admin > Ecommerce settings by enabling ecommerce. The currency should also be set on the page Admin > View settings.
